Disposal Region- West
Located at Imperial Beach, DRMO San Diego, the West Region provides service to the western part of the United States to include: Alaska, Washington, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana.

Disposal Region- Central
Located at Ft Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas, provides service to the Central part of the United States to include:  Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, Florida, Georgia, and Wisconsin.

Disposal Region- East
Disposal Region east provides service to the Eastern part of the United States to include: Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia.

Disposal Region- Pacific
Located at 1025 Quincy Avenue, Building 479, Suite 2000 on the Pearl Harbor Naval Base, the Disposal Region - Pacific provides service to the DRMS Pacific Region & DLA-Pacific DLA Enterprise.

Disposal Region- Europe
Located at Kleber Kaserne, Kaiserslautern, Germany,
Providing services to the EUCOM theater of operation.
From England to Italy and from the Azores to Turkey

J-9  Contingency Operations Directorate
Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service, is the DoD Activity responsible for the Disposal of hazardous waste, excess personal property, scrap and DEMIL property generated by DoD activities. Disposal of any of this property by a means other than DRMS requires approval of the Combatant Commander and concurrence from DLA.

DRMOs activities are comprised of the following offices

  • J-321 Warehousing
    Consisting of Receipt, Store and Issue at the DRMO
  • J-322 Property Accounting
    Overseeing the Daily transactions and keeping a cradle to grave record of all activity at the DRMOs.
  • J-33 Environmental Division
    For assistance with Hazardous Material & Waste contact the Environmentalist at the DRMO.
  • J-35 Controlled Property Division (CPC)
    Objective: This process will mitigate the release of unauthorized property to the public that is received via LSN or processed in a Batchlot
    • The Controlled Property Center (CPC) is one process for the resolution for 100% item review of batchlots and LSNs not cleared for release from hub locations
    • Six designated sites will receive specified LSNs and
    batchlots
    • All property will be reviewed and researched at the
    center
    • After review/research, the property will go through the
    appropriate disposition channel
  • Centralized Demil Centers (CDC)
    Two Demil Centers in CONUS authorized to physically receive weapons: Anniston and Crane.
    Anniston Demil Center is the primary location for body armor and camo nets.
  • J-32 Recycling Control Point (RCP)
    The RCP concept of "Marketing in Place" offers excess and surplus property for reuse directly from DLA/ Service Inventory Control Point (ICP).  Property is electronically released from Distribution Centers without being sent to a DRMO site.
  • Property Hold centers
    Lab Equipment, DEMIL Code A, B and Q
  • J-361 Reutilization, Transfer &Donation
    For assistance in excess and surplus property for reuse from a DRMO site contact an RTD Specialist.
  • J-362 Sales Division
